My kids to young and his teeth will fall out, is it worth getting a mouthguard?

We often get this question from parents so I thought I would do a post to answer it for you-

“My kids too young and his teeth will fall out, is it worth getting a mouthguard?”

I urge all parents not to discount the oral trauma your child is exposed to when playing sport! As you can remember yourself as a child you were full of confidence and thought you were made of steel. Accidents happen and when they do they are very costly, painful and can be embarrassing.

If your child loses a “baby” tooth due to oral trauma, do not expect your child’s adult tooth to start growing for a couple of years.

We identify which teeth will need room to grow and allow space in the mouthguard for this. I have purposely created our affordable LiteCHAMP range for your little critters. In most cases it will not cost you any money should you have private health insurance.

As a parent your duty of care as a parent is to protect your kids! Do not make the mistake in thinking your child is too young to get hurt.
